FAQ

Everything people ask before they start

Who is Project Audit Pro for?

Principal contractors, site managers and quality managers on residential and fit-out work — anyone who has to produce evidence that what was built matches what was specified.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs in the browser on a phone, a tablet or a desktop, and can be added to a home screen so it opens like an app.

Does it work with no signal?

Yes. Records and photographs are held on the device and go up the moment you are back in range. You can carry on working in a basement or a shell floor.

What drawings can I use?

Any PDF, including multi-page sets. Floor plans, elevations, ceiling plans. Pinch to zoom and pan; the pins stay where you put them.

How do subcontractors get their items?

One email with one PDF, listing everything outstanding against them with photographs. They do not need a seat, a login or an app.

Can I import my schedule of areas?

Yes — from Excel, CSV or a PDF schedule. Every unit is created with its type, rooms, floor area and balcony area, so a location is a real place rather than free text.

Are the inspection plans editable?

Every line of every plan and check sheet can be edited, and you can add your own. Fifteen ITPs and sixteen trade check sheets come loaded to start from.

Where is my data held?

In your own account on the project's database. Reports are generated on your device — no register and no site photograph passes through an outside service to become a PDF.

Can I take my data out?

At any time: the whole project as a single JSON file, and every register as Excel or CSV. Nothing is deleted if a subscription ends.

Does it cover the Building Safety Act?

It is built to produce the kind of record a golden thread needs: accurate, current, and handed over in a form somebody else can use. The handover checklist carries a golden thread item for every unit on a higher-risk building.

Who built it?

A working CDM principal contractor, on live sites in Milton Keynes — which is why it is shaped like the job rather than like a database.

What does it cost?

£19 per user per month, or £190 per user per year. Fourteen days free with every feature on and no card up front.

Still deciding?

Open the worked example. A real 64-flat project is loaded, so you can judge it on how it behaves rather than on a feature list.
